Local care workers at Saint Monica Trust have voted to take industrial action as a result of the Trust proposing to force through changes to their terms and conditions which would leave some of them £3,000 a year worse off.  St Monica Trust runs care homes and retirement villages in Bristol and Sandford.  The affected workers work in the care homes.

No one takes strike action lightly, there is background information about what brought them to this difficult decision and a petition to sign in their support on the UNISON South West website
